Väestöliitto’s mission is "A healthy, safe and balanced life begins with the family and has an impact on the whole society".  The aim of Väestöliitto is a society with a balanced population development and where families can live a good life.

On the practical level this means that we provide services that support young people, all kind of families, couple relationships and parenthood. We believe that a healthy and happy individual living in a healthy and happy family builds the foundation for a good life now and in the future.

We want to have an impact on the conditions in society so that people will be able to form families in the way they want to.
