Location of the library

The collections of the library include literature, journals and statistics both on Finland´s and the world´s population. The library’s collections on Finnish population statistics date back to 1865. Central topics are population development, fertility, families, family policy, and sexual and reproductive health.

The books have been catalogued to Väestöliitto’s own POPULUS-reference database which can be used at the library. The loan period of books is one month. Statistics and journals are not lent; but they can be photocopied. There is a study desk for visitors at the library.
