Young People

Youth open House (YOH) at the Family Federation’s Sexual Health Clinic is a model programme for promoting sexual health and sexual health education among young people.

YOH carries out a variety of activities benefiting young people. These include our clinic, web service, consultation by phone, training of professionals, publishing sex education materials and joint projects with other organizations as well as social advocacy. Our clinic services are free-of-charge and meant for girls under 18 and boys under 20, while our web service is for young people under the age of 18. At the moment YOH is focusing at the sexual health of young finnish people, who are under custody of social service.

Our aim is to increase the knowledge, skills and motivation of young people to take care of themselves. We also provide support for the parents and for professionals working with youth, so that they would be able to promote the well-being of young people in this field.

RAY, Finland´s Slot Machine Association, is our biggest and most important donor.
