Wilma Tiippana,  Global Development

Our Advocacy Adviser promotes sexual rights within Finnish and EU development policy. Wilma has previous work experience in international cooperation in various roles and organisations, particularly at the UN and within Nordic cooperation. At Väestöliitto, she is responsible for EU advocacy and cooperation, as well as for the activities of the Every Body Nordics youth network in Finland. Through her work, Wilma aims to promote equality and equity, sexual rights – particularly bodily autonomy – and human rights in general. Wilma holds a Master’s degree in International and Comparative Law.
