Elina Korhonen,  Global Development

Elina Korhonen has been working for a long time on issues like human development, equality and sexual rights. Elina is the head of the unit and also responsible for developing Väestöliitto’s work towards supporting the sustainable development goals. Elina is also responsible for advocacy work on development policy and acts as secretary and an adviser of the All-Party-Parliamentary-Groups on Sexual Rights and Development. She is a member of the development policy committee, the chair of 1325 network in Finland and the Seta’s working group on international affairs. Elina holds a Master of Political Science with a major in social policy, a Bachelor of Political Science with a major in developing studies and is a sexual counsellor and a sexual therapist.
