SHARE Baltic Sea Conference – First conference on Health, Ageing and Retirement

The Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) is a multidisciplinary and cross-national panel database of micro data. SHARE provides data on the changing health, economic and social living conditions of Europeans aged 50 and over.

SHARE Baltic Sea conference brings together researchers from the Baltic and Nordic countries and different disciplines. It is an excellent opportunity to learn about research in the field, expand networks, deepen knowledge and create new opportunities for collaboration.

A keynote speech is given by Professor David Richter, Director SHARE Infrastructure.

Keywords

Research can involve but is not limited to:

longitudinal analyses, multisectoral analyses, comparative analyses, health, ageing, social networks, policy analysis, causal research, social network analysis

The conference venue in Väestöliitto is situated right in the middle of Helsinki, at Kalevankatu 16.

Call for papers

Abstracts can be submitted by researchers from the Nordic and Baltic countries using SHARE data.

Please submit youre extended abstracts in a PDF-format to Terhi Auvinen terhi.auvinen@uef.fi

All submissions must take the form of extended abstracts, limited to 1,000 words. Extended abstract should be structured to encompass: keywords, introduction, objective, method, findings, and conclusion.

We have extended the call for papers until 1.5.2024.
